How to Mail Hard-Copy Nuggets
A physical Nugget WITH A PERSONAL NOTE lands on a staffer's desk and gets attention. Don't underestimate it — hard-copy mail still carries real weight in congressional offices and at the very least a staffer close to the representative will see and handle it. We consider this a real backbone of our initiative!

Decide Who to Send It To
-
Your elected representatives — use the Find My Reps tool to the right to look up their mailing address by ZIP code. Once you have their names, use the standard mailing addresses — no office number needed:
U.S. Senate: The Honorable [Senator's Full Name] United States Senate Washington, DC 20510
U.S. House of Representatives: The Honorable [Representative's Full Name] United States House of Representatives Washington, DC 20515
-
Local candidates — search online for your state and local election candidates
-
The press — your local news outlets or largest newspapers; consider a Letter to the Editor with a Nugget attached
-
Individuals — anyone in your life who should see this
Write a Personal Note and Send It
Include a short note right on your Nuggets. Tell your recipient why this matters to you personally, that you're a constituent (for elected officials), and that you're asking for action. Personal notes make a real difference — they show this isn't a form letter.
Consider making it a regular habit — a new Nugget in the mail each month keeps the pressure on.
